• Ensure the camera is in focus
• You take the image in a well lit room or under natural lighting
• If you are using a mobile phone, use the standard camera app
• Avoid taking the photo through platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp
• Ensure you check the quality by zooming in and checking the handwriting is in focus before submitting the image.

As a rule, the clearer the handwriting/drawing, the better the engraving will be.
